The Alpinestars GP Plus R v4 Airflow Jacket is engineered and optimized for maximum ventilation and airflow and features extensive race-derived features and materials including a dedicated ‘Sport’ fit with pre-curved arms for maximum riding performance, and race-proven protection on the shoulders and elbows. Vented shoulders and extensive perforation zones on the chest and sides for maximum airflow. Alpinestars composite stretch technology, A-CS® Plus, stretch panels on the torso for exceptional breathability, comfort, and freedom of movement, as well as delivering a lighter weight and a lower profile than a traditional leather accordion panel (the A-CS® Plus panels are about 9% lighter than leather panels). Another key advantage of using A-CS® Plus is its superior stretch performance; A-CS® Plus has about 30% elongation and offers an increase in tear resistance of 300% compared to HRSF (Hyper Resistant Stretch Fiber), and an increase in cut resistance by 600% versus leather. 1.3mm ‘Race’ grade leather construction for the optimum blend of abrasion resistance and comfort. Extensive technical stretch panels under the arms, on the inner arms, and around the neck for an optimized fit.

How To Measure

Take your measurements without wearing clothes that might affect the results. Repeat all measurements and use the larger of the two.

A - Chest

Wrap a cloth measuring tape around the fullest part, under the armpits, keeping the tape horizontal and snug.

B - Waist

Wrap a cloth measuring tape around the natural waist line, inline with the navel, keeping the tape horizontal and snug.

C - Hip

Wrap a cloth measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips, about 20cm below waist line, keeping the tape horizontal and snug.

D - Thigh

Wrap a cloth measuring tape around the thigh just below the crotch, keeping the tape horizontal and snug. Measure both left and right leg and use the larger of the two measurements.

E - Inseam

Stand against a wall, ask someone else to measure from the crotch to the bottom of your leg.

F - Arm Length

Measure from shoulder (Humerus) to wrist. Measure both left and right arm and use the longest of the two measurements.

G - Height

Stand against a wall, ask someone else to measure from the floor to the top of your head, keeping the tape vertical.
